Will 18 Months

Can't believe my baby is 18 months! He is adorable and so, SO, Naughty!
He loves bubble baths! He sticks bubbles right on his mouth over and over again.
He talks so much, it's my favorite thing! One of his favorite things to say is PIGGIES!
When he is sick he is super cuddly!  He will lay on my shoulder all day long, but he will not let me sit down.  If  I even start to hover around a chair he throws a fit! It makes for some long days!
He does a lot of this...
He colors on everything! I try so hard to keep all the art supplies up high and out of reach but my rotten kids are always getting them down and I feel like every time I turn around he is coloring on something.  He always starts with his belly, then his face, and then his feet, and if I haven't caught him by the time he's done with that he moves onto walls, doors, and furniture... Ugh! We have sharpie and crayon on our brand new floors, pen on our brand new doors, and marker just about everywhere else... It's a good thing he's so darn cute! Saves his life sometimes!
He gets into everything!!  I have child proof locks on all my bathroom drawers and cupboards that he has learned how to open, so there is nothing he can't get into. He loves to sneak in my room!  He is mischievous enough to know he is being naughty so he will close the door after he goes in and then just apply layers and layers of lotion, hair gel, and toothpaste to his face, arms, hair, clothes, and our carpet...
He loves being naked!  It's not easy for him, but with enough effort he can completely undress himself.  I usually intercept this before it happens, but every now and then I'm too late.
This was after a nap.  I came in to find him completely bottomless holding his pants in one hand and his diaper in the other.
We all just love this little guy!!

Piggies!!

For Christmas Aspen really, REALLY wanted a pet.  So she got all the supplies to make a Guinea Pig cage, as well as a coupon to go pick out a Guinea Pig.  She was funny, the first present she opened was the storage cubes.  She kind of looked confused and we were like "You seem to really like organizing so we thought you would like these" and she smiled and was like "Oh yeah, I do really like organizing!" Then the second present she opened were these cheep little fleece blankets to go on the bottom of the cage and we were like "You always seem cold so we thought you would like these." She smiled and was like "Oh Yeah, I am always cold"... She's such a good sport.  Meanwhile everyone else is opening up toys.  But she is so nice she probably would have been happy with blankets and storage cubes!  Luckily her next present was the Guinea Pig supply's and a coupon for a Guinea Pig. Her and Matt made the cage together the next day and then we were off to buy a Pig!
Instead of one little Piggie we came home with 3.  Zoe and Scott came with us to the store and fell in Love with all the cute little pigs and begged and begged, so they each ended up buying one with their own money.
Will is completely obsessed with them.
The kids love these little things!  They are as gentle with them as they should be.  Lola and Cooper are always making homes and forts for them out of blocks and magformers.  We have little purses for them to carry them around in, and that gets pretty dangerous sometimes. I did happen to walk into Lola and Cooper launching them off couch cushions at one point too.  So when one of them died, it was quite disturbing as I felt responsible... Our 3 original piggies were Ginger, Holly, and Coco.  Coco died so we now have Pepper.
One day Teresa and her kids were playing here and when we walked upstairs to grab her boys Cooper looked like this and Tad was completely naked.  They streaked across the hall and yelled "A pig is on the loose!!" We were like, "Okay, but why aren't you wearing any clothes?" and they were like "Because it's fun..." We tried really hard to teach them about modesty, but we were laughing too hard!

Snow Fun

I love all the snow we've had this year! Unfortunately all our snow clothes are stuffed in our garage somewhere and our garage is a nightmare right now because of all our house projects we've been doing!  So the kids didn't play much in it, but we enjoyed it nonetheless.
Aspen, Zoe, and Addie built a snow cave and then ate lunch in it.
Lola built little baby snowmen one day :)

Happy New Year!

We went to my parents on New Years Eve and had a Dipping party.  My Mom had made all kinds of fun treats for the kids to dip in chocolate. This is a tradition that my kids love!
After the party we went out to Zupa's for some dinner, and then we went and saw Star Wars.  Poor Matt was home slaving away on the floors.
