Family Pictures 2012...

So basically this whole experience was a nightmare, and quite Hilarious, (after I got over the shock of it all :)  After hiring a photographer, buying outfits, and then getting everyone ready, we head out to take some pictures only to find out that Lola doesn't really want to get her pictures taken.  She will show the camera her muscles, or her booty, and maybe even a gang sign or 2, but stand there and smile? Nope, not interested.  So we followed her around, and tried to convince her to stand by us.  After a while of doing that Cooper exploded... He pooped all over!  It got on my new jacket and Matt's light pink sweater (which is a story all on it's own, the sweater that is).  So in the end we threw in the towel and hoped for the best... I came home and needed a little "me" time before I could officially come off my pitty pot and laugh about the whole thing.  Looking at the pictures now makes me laugh though, and it will be a good memory in the end.

Just a little confused...

Ever since Christmas Lola has been obsessed with Santa.  So anytime someone is hurt or scared she always assures them that Santa will help them, or that Santa will make it better.

The other day Scott and I went to the dollar store and as we were leaving Scott asked "Who makes all those toys?" and before I could answer he said "Oh Yeah, Jesus."

So, in a nutshell, It seems as if I've taught my children that Santa heals the sick, and Jesus is a toy maker....

My work here is done!

Party Pong, AKA Beer Pong :)

Matt introduced Chase to Party Pong on his last date, and it has been played many times since.  The kids get super loud and silly, and try to do weird things before they bounce the ball into the cup.  Chase say's since normally people get drunk while playing this game, you have to act drunk while playing this game... I get the logic in that.  Good Times :)

Activity Days Fashion Show

Aspen had a little Fashion Show for activity days a couple weeks ago.  They made these outfits out of garbage sacks and duck tape.  She begged me to let her sleep in it and wear it to school the next day, and I was seriously tempted.  It's pretty cute!

Happy Birthday... Lynn, BJ, Brooke, Chase, Addi, and Scott

We had a fun little get together at Rick and Debs to celebrate all the February Birthdays.
Lola and Teek are trouble together so usually if they are out of site it is bad news, but this time they just snuck off to a bed room to watch a show.  No damage was done.  Every time someone would come in to check on them though they would hold up their feet and say "Wanna smell my stinky feet?"

All Scott wanted for his Birthday this year was Balloons.  I seriously could have gotten that over the RC car and he would have been happy as a Lark, but I figured that was a cheap present for someone else... Needless to say Rick and Deb made all his dreams come true!

Ice Breaker Tournament

We went to Saint George over Presidents Day weekend for Chase's soccer tournament.  It was a nice little break from our normal routine :)

Lola, Where are you?

Every morning I get the kids off to school and then I put in a show for Lola and try to get a quick work out.  I always run on the treadmill first, and do weights after.  After I am done with my run I  check on Lola.  I usually just call down the stairs and say "Lola, where are you" , and she usually replies "watching a movie"  and then I finish my workout.  Every now and again though, I call down and don't get a response and that usually means one of two things. 1.  She has fallen asleep somewhere (never on the couch oddly enough).  I think she gets woken up by bigger brothers and sisters earlier than she would like to each day.  Or 2.  She is doing something NAUGHTY :)

This day she had gotten into the peanut butter and rubbed it all over herself.
Nasty...

This day it was Nestle Quick :)
And then sometimes she just gets tired and for some reason hops off the comfy couch to go fall asleep somewhere random like, at the bottom of the stairs :)

P90X... Chase is Hardcore :)

Lola came down this morning and joined Chase for a little P90X.  Just to toot Chase's horn, he is one driven kid.  He wakes up at 5:30 in the morning and reads his scriptures, and then does P90X before school.  Pretty dang sweet, right!
