My parents have thrown a Halloween party every year they have been married, so even though they are not here this year we had to keep with tradition. We tried to do it exactly like they would have done it, complete with soup in pumpkin bread bowls, a scavenger hunt ( a must), and a pinata. It definitely wasn't the same with out them (or without Ryan and family, in VA and Erin in Italy) but we did manage to have a great time. If you can't tell what our theme is this year we are all Disney Movie Villains....

We have Cruella De' Ville and Captain Hook (Wow who knew these two would make such a LOVELY couple?)
Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty...
Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland...
Shir Khan from Jungle Book...
And Hates from Hercules (Doesn't he look just like him, the Toga, the blue hair ) Okay actually Chase and I compromised, Halloween for Chase is all about the Blood and Guts, and sure as heck better be scary. So since Hates is the Greek version of the Grim Reaper, this is what we cameHere are the rest of our Festive Guests. Zorro and Elaina
Bat Girl, A Bumblebee, and 2 adorable Hippies (doesn't Teresa make the cutest little Pregnant Hippie you've ever seen!)
We played a new game this year, that I think is going to become a tradition. It's called Twisted (AKA Twister) It was hysterical, we had poor Teresa practically doing the splits which aren't easy to do at all but especially when 8 months pregnant.

We even made a potion, which the kids thought was Awesome! Scott kept saying "Ewwww" And trying to touch it.
A Big Thank you to my parents who surprised the kids with a pinata. It was a hugs hit. Demzi was Hilarious with it, she was yelling at it and growling as she would try to hit it.
